Gas collection

A solid collection tube consisting of a glass collection tube filled with a collection agent such as activated carbon or silica gel is used to collect toxic gases in various atmospheres. The sample is collected by breaking off the ends of the tubes, and then connecting a suction pump to it. After collection, the solvent is extracted, and subjected to quantitative analysis using a gas chromatograph method.
